These stories of these incredible women completely touched my heart. There’s nothing super extraordinary about them, but at the same time, they are probably the most amazing women out there. It’s not about their looks, their accomplishments in life, and necessarily their incredible sacrifice… it’s about their heart and how much they truly understand what true love is.
The last few days I’ve been reading 1 John and meditating on John 15:13.
“No one has greater love than this, to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”
All three of these women sacrificed their lives, their dreams, their aspirations in life (if they had any, that is… I’m assuming they did) so that the children in their lives could have life, hope, and a future.
What an amazing and perfect picture of God’s love for us!
I wish I could love those in my life half as much (if not just as much) as they do.
