Hey Ladies!!
I am a 33 year old living in the wonderful and amazing Vancouver, WA with a heart for women’s ministry.
A few fun nuggets about me: I love coffee, ice cream, hiking, volleyball, crime TV shows (Criminal Minds or SVU, anyone?), chick flicks, action films (Jason Statham), movies in general, spending quality time with others, holding babies, cute animals, and corny Dad jokes.
Most importantly though, I love Jesus and what He has done in my life and I strive to continually grow in my relationship with Him daily, though I often struggle. I’m obviously not perfect, as you’ll find out as I continue to write on this blog, but I have a heart for Christ and living a life that honors God… and inspiring others to do the same.
Purity to me is not just saving your virginity until you’re married like many initially think, though I believe that is important. More than that, purity is something from the heart.
It should be apparent in every aspect of our lives: in how we act, talk, think, love, and serve. It should be obvious in our everyday life and faith in God.
Living a life of purity is definitely not easy, especially within the realm of our sexuality! It’s not the “norm” nor seen as a standard that’s desirable.
Honoring God in my everyday life is something I have to work for, strive for, and fight for, but like I wrote in the world’s shortest poem, it will be worth it! I believe my future self will appreciate my living a life that puts God’s will first… along with my future spouse. 😉
